Hi... I've been away from your newsletters for too long... 😫😫

For the relationships you mentioned, I'm really grateful because I have a good friend, a couple of cheerleaders, and a bond with my Heavenly Father.

But there are two I don't have yet. A connector and a mentor.

I'm not sure how to go about the connector... I feel like I need to be active in some way in my field and then I would meet them, but I'm not sure.

But my major confusion is the mentor. I have a couple of role models but I've not really found a mentor yet

Hey dear one!

It’s so good to have you back!

I love that you already have strong relationships—having a good friend, cheerleaders, and your bond with God is a great foundation!

For the connector, you’re right. Being active in your field makes it easier to meet the right people. Look for ways to engage—join conversations, show up in spaces where your industry people gather, and share your thoughts. Connectors usually find people who are already on the move.

About getting a mentor, I get the struggle. Instead of waiting for the one perfect mentor, start by learning from different people. Follow their work, ask questions, and seek advice when you can. Sometimes, mentorship starts casually before it becomes something deeper.

You’re on the right track—just keep showing up and staying open. The right people will come!
