Hello dear one
I trust you are well.
This week is special for me for several reasons. One reason is that today marks a year since I started writing this weekly newsletter. Wow! It's been a whole year already! I'm incredibly grateful for the growth and my ability to stay consistent. The other reason today is special is because I'm in a different city for a couple of days, exploring new opportunities with a dear friend. All in all, I'm excited about this week and the coming weeks.

“Increase is coming, so enlarge your tent and add extensions to your dwelling. Hold nothing back! Make the tent ropes longer and the pegs stronger. You will increase and spread out in every direction. Your sons and daughters will conquer nations and revitalise desolate cities.” Isaiah 54:2-3 (TPT)
Imagine the life cycle of a butterfly that begins as an egg, then becomes a larva. In this process, the wings of the butterfly develop even when they are not visible. Just like the little egg, growth is always on the horizon. There is someone you need to become to fully utilize all that God has planted in you and bless the world with all you are. Growth requires much more, and it cannot happen in isolation—you have a part to play, especially concerning the things you aspire toward. Growth is the key that unlocks the treasure chest of abilities God has planted in you. It allows you to develop your skills, knowledge, and character to their fullest. By actively seeking growth, you are preparing for your future. You are becoming the person equipped to handle the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead. It's like training for a marathon; the more you prepare, the better you will be able to run the race. As you grow, you become better equipped to contribute positively to the world around you. Your growth allows you to use your gifts to make a difference. Don’t deny yourself and the world the goodness of being the best version of yourself. Grow into your wings!
2 Tips
I know for a lot of people, growth is another word, just like love, that is overused to the point that we don’t know what growth should look like for us or what we ought to do to grow. I hope these tips help:
Embrace the challenge of having God dream through you: I heard a quote a while ago, "God can dream for you a bigger dream than you can ever dream for yourself." This quote speaks to the fact that when we dream as humans, we are limited by our knowledge and mindsets. And no matter how grand the dreams are, they still can’t measure up to God’s dream for you. In allowing God to dream through you, you get to live out life the way He sees you, and you are getting to stretch into His design for your life. Your best bet for growth is not just for you to dream big but to dream God’s dreams for you.
Seek Mentorship and Guidance: No one grows in isolation. Surround yourself with positive influences, mentors who can guide you, and communities that support your growth track. The growth that you seek lies in the right environment. You need people who will remind you who you are, challenge you to step up when you are slacking.
