Hey hey dear one,
Happy New Week.
Growing up, my siblings and I had a kind of holy fear for our dad. He’s funny, kind, and deeply generous—but just the mention of “Daddy” could make all of us sit up and self-correct real quick. Now that I’m older, I look back with so much gratitude. His discipline, love, and consistency helped shape who I am. And even more, it’s given me a glimpse—a small but meaningful one—into the Fatherhood of God.
God’s Fatherhood is even richer, deeper, and more perfect than what any earthly parent can offer. Whether or not you had a great relationship with your own dad, there’s good news: you have a Heavenly Father who wants you, sees you, and chose you.
He didn’t wait for you to get it all together. He made a way for you to belong—from the very beginning—through Jesus. Not as a slave, but as His Son.
My prayer is that this episode helps you see more clearly what it means to be His. May it stir up something new in your heart—a desire to walk closely with your Father and to live boldly and humbly, knowing that you are deeply loved and fully accepted.
